Welcome to TURNIT. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TURNIT website, application, services, features, and related products (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using TURNIT, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Service.

Important AI notice: TURNIT uses artificial intelligence to assist with content transformation. AI-generated or AI-assisted output may contain mistakes, omissions, inaccuracies, unintended similarities, or inappropriate content. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on, publishing, or distributing it.

1. About TURNIT

TURNIT is an AI-assisted productivity platform designed to help users transform content into other useful formats.

The current TURNIT MVP primarily allows users to submit text and request an AI-assisted social-content transformation. Other input types or features may be unavailable, limited, or temporarily disabled. Available features may change as TURNIT develops.

TURNIT is not an AI model provider itself. The Service may use third-party artificial-intelligence and infrastructure providers to process requests.

2. Eligibility

You may use TURNIT only if you are legally capable of entering into these Terms and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

Certain features may have additional age, eligibility, or provider-specific requirements. Where such requirements apply, you must satisfy them before using the relevant feature.

3. Your Account

Some TURNIT features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your account information reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

You must not knowingly allow another person to access your account in a manner that violates these Terms or applicable law.

4. Email Verification

TURNIT may require verification of your email address before allowing access to certain features.

Email verification may be used to protect accounts, reduce abuse, and communicate important information relating to the Service.

5. TURNIT Credits

TURNIT uses an internal credit system called "TURNs" to measure access to certain AI-powered operations.

Under the current free offering, eligible users receive 3 TURNs for the lifetime of their account. Each successful social-content transformation uses 1 TURN.

A TURN is used only when the applicable AI-powered operation is successfully completed. TURNIT may determine that a failed, unavailable, or unsuccessful request does not consume a TURN.

TURNs are an internal unit controlled by TURNIT. They are not cash, currency, cryptocurrency, or a direct purchase of credits from an AI provider.

TURNIT may change its credit allowances, operation costs, usage limits, or other plan rules as the Service develops, subject to applicable law.

6. Free Access and Future Paid Plans

TURNIT currently provides a limited free offering as described by the Service.

TURNIT may introduce paid plans or additional paid features in the future.

As of the effective date of these Terms, the TURNIT Pro offering is described as coming soon and is not available for purchase unless the Service expressly indicates otherwise.

A feature described as coming soon does not create an obligation for TURNIT to launch that feature at a particular time.

7. Your Content

"Your Content" means text, documents, images, files, prompts, instructions, or other material that you submit to TURNIT.

You retain ownership of Your Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Your Content to TURNIT.

You grant TURNIT the limited rights reasonably necessary to receive, process, transmit, temporarily store where required, secure, and otherwise handle Your Content for the purpose of providing the Service.

Successful transformation results that you choose to save to your TURNIT Library may be retained in your account so that you can access them through the Service. Saving a result does not transfer ownership of the underlying content to TURNIT.

8. Your Responsibility for Your Content

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and legal authority to submit Your Content to TURNIT and have it processed by the Service.

You must not submit content that:

you do not have the right or permission to use;
infringes another person's intellectual-property rights;
violates another person's privacy or other legal rights;
violates applicable laws or regulations;
contains malicious software or harmful code;
is intended to facilitate fraud, impersonation, or unlawful activity; or
otherwise violates these Terms or applicable Service restrictions.

9. AI Processing and Output

TURNIT uses artificial-intelligence technology to process requests and generate or transform content.

Content submitted to TURNIT may be transmitted to third-party AI or infrastructure providers when reasonably necessary to provide the requested Service.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unsuitable for a particular purpose, or different from what you expected.

You are responsible for reviewing output before using it.

You should independently verify important factual, legal, financial, medical, professional, or other high-impact information before relying on it.

TURNIT does not guarantee that AI output is unique, copyrightable, legally protectable, accurate, or free from similarity to content generated for other users.

10. Ownership of Generated Output

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TURNIT does not claim ownership of output generated for you solely because you used the Service.

However, the legal status and protectability of AI-generated material can vary by jurisdiction and circumstances.

You are responsible for determining whether your intended use of generated output is legally permitted and whether additional permissions are required.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

use TURNIT for unlawful purposes;
attempt to access another user's account;
circumvent security measures or usage limits;
interfere with or disrupt the Service;
introduce malicious code or harmful software;
reverse engineer protected portions of the Service except where applicable law permits it;
use automated systems to abuse or overload TURNIT;
misrepresent ownership or authorization relating to submitted content;
use TURNIT to infringe another person's rights; or
otherwise misuse the Service.

12. Provider and Capacity Limits

TURNIT may depend on third-party AI providers and infrastructure. Available capacity may therefore change.

TURNIT may limit, pause, or temporarily disable AI functionality when available capacity has been reached, a provider becomes unavailable, a provider restriction applies, or security and operational protection requires it.

TURNIT will not intentionally create a hidden charge by silently switching a user request to a paid provider.

13. Third-Party Services

TURNIT may use third-party services for hosting, authentication, email delivery, AI processing, storage, security, analytics, or other infrastructure.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. TURNIT is not responsible for independent services outside its reasonable control.

14. TURNIT Intellectual Property

The TURNIT name, branding, interface, software, design, features, documentation, and other materials provided by TURNIT, excluding Your Content and third-party materials, are owned by or licensed to TURNIT.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of TURNIT's software, branding, technology, or other proprietary materials.

15. Service Availability

We aim to keep TURNIT available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

The Service may become temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, provider outages, security incidents, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

16. Suspension and Termination

TURNIT may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, created a security risk, engaged in unlawful conduct, or otherwise used TURNIT in a manner that could harm the Service or others.

You may stop using TURNIT at any time.

17. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TURNIT IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

TURNIT DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING WARRANTIES RELATING TO ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND RELIABILITY.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TURNIT AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend and hold harmless TURNIT and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

20. Changes to the Service

TURNIT may add, modify, suspend, or remove features from the Service as the product develops.

We may also introduce new limitations or requirements where reasonably necessary for security, provider compliance, sustainability, or legal requirements.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to TURNIT, legal requirements, technology, or business operations.

When appropriate, material changes may be communicated through the Service or another reasonable method.

Continued use of TURNIT after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

22. Privacy

Your use of TURNIT is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

24. Governing Law

These Terms will be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or limit any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
