Effective date: September 9, 2026
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TURNIT ("TURNIT," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, processes, and protects information when you use the TURNIT website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create a TURNIT account, we may collect:
- your name or display information, where provided;
- your email address;
- account creation information;
- email verification status; and
- information necessary to maintain your account.
TURNIT does not require you to provide the password for your personal email account.
1.2 Content You Submit
The current TURNIT MVP primarily processes text that you voluntarily provide for an AI-assisted social-content transformation.
Other input types, including documents or images, may be introduced in the future but may be unavailable or temporarily disabled at a particular time.
Content you submit may contain personal information depending on what you choose to provide.
You should not submit personal or confidential information that you do not have the right to provide or that is unnecessary for your requested transformation.
1.3 Transformation Information
We may process the instructions, prompts, transformation preferences, selected platform, tone, audience information, and other information necessary to complete a request.
1.4 Technical Information
TURNIT and its infrastructure providers may automatically receive limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
Depending on the systems used, this may include information such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, pages or features accessed, and technical logs.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- create and manage your account;
- verify your email address;
- provide requested content transformations;
- process submitted content and instructions;
- display or manage generated results;
- maintain and secure TURNIT;
- detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized activity;
- troubleshoot technical problems;
- communicate important account or Service information;
- improve TURNIT where permitted;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- protect the rights, security, and property of TURNIT and others.
3. Submitted Content and Processing
Content submitted to TURNIT is processed primarily to provide the transformation or functionality you request.
TURNIT is not intended to operate as a permanent archive for submitted content solely because you use the transformation Service.
Successful transformation results that you choose to save to your TURNIT Library may be retained in your account so that you can access them through the Service.
Information may also remain temporarily in technical logs, security systems, backups, or other infrastructure where reasonably necessary for operation, security, disaster recovery, or legal obligations.
4. AI and Third-Party Processing
TURNIT may use third-party providers for AI processing, hosting, infrastructure, authentication, storage, email delivery, security, analytics, and other functions required to operate the Service.
Content and instructions submitted to TURNIT may be transmitted to a third-party AI or infrastructure provider when reasonably necessary to process the requested transformation.
We seek to use such providers only as reasonably necessary for the relevant Service functionality and subject to applicable contractual, security, and legal requirements.
Third-party providers may have their own privacy policies and terms governing their services.
5. Personal Information Is Not Sold
TURNIT does not sell personal information as a source of revenue.
We may share information with service providers that process information on our behalf to operate TURNIT. Such service providers are different from selling personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You use the Service with this understanding.
7. Data Retention
We aim to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account management, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and legitimate operational needs.
Transformation content is handled primarily for the purpose of providing the requested Service. Successful results that you choose to save to your TURNIT Library may remain in your account until you delete them or request account or data deletion, subject to applicable legal, security, and technical requirements.
Information contained in backups may remain for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted through the normal backup lifecycle.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
TURNIT may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, or similar technologies necessary to operate the Service, maintain sessions, protect accounts, or remember appropriate preferences.
If TURNIT introduces optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy may be updated and any legally required notices or choices will be provided.
9. Communications
TURNIT may send transactional communications such as account verification messages, password-reset messages, security notifications, and important Service communications.
10. Children's Privacy
TURNIT is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children where such collection is prohibited by applicable law.
Certain features may have additional age or eligibility requirements based on applicable law or third-party provider requirements.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to TURNIT in a manner that violates applicable law, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws applicable to you, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
These may include rights to:
- request access to personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request restriction of certain processing;
- object to certain processing;

Certain information may need to be retained where required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, necessary for security, or retained temporarily in technical backups.
13. International Processing
TURNIT and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international data transfers, we will seek to use appropriate legally permitted safeguards.
14. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, governmental requests, or to protect the rights, safety, security, and property of TURNIT, our users, or others.
15. Business Transfers
If TURNIT becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information associated with the Service may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
16. Third-Party Links
TURNIT may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not govern those third-party services.
You should review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing them with personal information.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TURNIT changes, new technologies are introduced, or legal requirements change.
When appropriate, material changes may be communicated through the Service or another reasonable method.
